Building on a Promise

For a homeowner, a remodel can feel overwhelming. You’ve heard stories about confusing processes, budget overruns, quality issues, or timelines that keep changing. We reflected on these stories, and it caused us to pause our business operations, to give us time to rethink our own business focus, to ensure we understood things from your viewpoint. With your expectations at the center of every decision, we’re committed to listening to the stories you want to tell, so our work reflects that vision. In Summer of 2026 we reopened as PromiseBuilt Kitchen & Bath… building on a promise.

“Building on a promise” means we’re going to make your home improvement project as stress-free and smooth as possible. PromiseBuilt is looking for clients who want ongoing clarity and calm reassurance, from reliable, honest, trustworthy professionals who will educate them on construction practices and processes, so they’ll feel informed throughout the project.

PromiseBuilt wants you to tell a great story, about the remodel of your dreams, that was built on a promise.

Let’s build better spaces, together.

Your home should feel solid, safe, and welcoming every day. That’s why we start by listening, then plan carefully and treat every project like it’s happening in our own home. From the first call to the final walk-through, we keep everything clear, friendly, and hassle-free.

Kitchen or Bathroom: Remodel or Refresh?

A REMODEL…is a significant change that takes several weeks to several months. It is a higher budget decision because there’s significantly more labor, materials, permits, and contingencies included. It is disruptive, and will produce a lot of dust and noise. Yet, a Kitchen/Bathroom REMODEL is a space designed for how you live.

A REFRESH…is a cosmetic change that takes a few days to a couple of weeks. It is a lower budget decision because there is less labor, materials, permitting, and contingencies included. It is much less disruptive and won’t have as much dust and noise, A Kitchen/Bathroom REFRESH transforms a room into a cleaner, brighter, more comfortable space.

Do you just have a question?

We’ll try to answer it.

“How much?” is a fair question.

Our pricing is based on a few key factors. Expenses, that include the costs of materials, labor and benefits. Overhead, like rent, insurance and equipment. And a reasonable profit that ensures everything runs smoothly to maintain ongoing, reliable service.

For smaller repairs that take a day or two, we charge by time (materials not included). Our service minimum is 2 hours, and is per carpenter.

2 hours: $350 | 4 hours: $575 | 8 hours: $850

Most projects are a fixed price. Once we agree on a price, we stick to it. If the scope changes along the way due to a hidden issue or an added request from a client, we’ll document the change and price, then get your signed approval before moving forward.

The following are general price ranges for remodels. Please note these are meant as a guide only, since every project is unique.
